Libertarians on the Ballot in 2024

Chase Oliver

President of the United States

Chase Oliver’s campaign for Georgia’s hotly-contested U.S. Senate seat attracted national attention, leading Rolling Stone to dub him the “most influential Libertarian in American.” He is a passionate and energetic champion for the rights of all individuals against the growing power of the state. This 38-year old is bringing the energy the duopoly will have a hard time competing with.

Kenneth Kaplan

U.S. Senate New Jersey

Kenneth R. Kaplan, the father of two grown children, is President of KenKap Realty Corp., a company he founded after being associated with Edgerton Realty Corp. for 6 years as a broker/salesperson, following a 22 year tenure at Archie Schwartz Company. He also has experience in retail business and law. A cum laude graduate of Brandeis University and NYU Law School, he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1972 and remains a member in good standing.

Born in Newark, Kaplan grew up in West Orange, and lived in Rockaway and Livingston before moving to his current residence in Parsippany. Thus, he has a life-long familiarity with New Jersey’s people and issues. His community involvement includes membership in the Livingston Lions Club, where he is a past president. Kaplan believes in following the Constitution, and that means smaller government, lower taxes, and more individual liberty.

His focus will be on reducing federal spending so we can reduce taxes and begin paying down the debt

Lana Leguia

Lana Leguía is a 32 year old resident of Sussex County. A life love advocate of individual liberty, Lana currently is VP of Political Affairs for the New Jersey Libertarian Party, the chapter leader for Ladies of Liberty Alliance New Jersey, and volunteers with other grass roots efforts to bring Liberty to New Jersey. Lana ran for her local school board in 2023, receiving 46% of the vote.

Lana does come from a political family. As the great great granddaughter of the former President of Peru, Augusto B. Leguía, Lana hopes to continue the legacy of public service to her country and community.
